Dial-An-Angel has a database of over 3500 rental apartments in Shenzhen and this is updated daily. The rental market is quite dynamic as the apartment building frenzy continues unabated so there is lots of choice and thereby sometimes one can be overloaded with options.
We take a briefing from you of your requirements, search the database and provide a short list to be viewed on arrival. If we don't have what you need in the database we go out and source it. Once you see the right property we negotiate pricing, inclusions, changes, then prepare the contract (in English & Chinese) and finally organise all utilities to be connected or switched over. Typically we can do all of this in 2-3 days.

The normal payment requirement is two months of the rent value as a damage deposit plus one month rent in advance. Commission is half of one month rent value paid by both tenant and landlord. Beware of free commission deals (landlord pays your share) as the landlord raises the rent to recover the extra he pays; so you end up paying more over the period of the lease.

Seaview Gardens An older complex which has a mix of double storey villas, six storey walkups plus three tower blocks and is situated right in the centre of Shekou. Minimal leisure facilities available (one tennis court) but there is a play gym and decent sized lawn area in this secure complex plus car parking. Pets are also allowed here. Garden City Stage 3 completed in 2007. This large apartment complex is 5mins by bus or taxi from the centre of Shekou and is 800m to Wal-Mart and across the street from the Garden City shopping centre featuring StarBucks, Papa Johns, Marathon, plus many up-market fashion and jewelry stores. Prices range from US$500 - $2,500 per month.
Sea Taste Gardens A set of six high rise tower blocks just behind Coastal Rose Garden stage 2. The high floors have great sea and/or mountain/city views at reasonable prices. Most apartments are supplied furnished with LCD TV and western style appliances. There is a pool area and it is close to local supermarkets and shops. Prices range from US$500 - 2,000 per month.
Jingshan Villas An old and well established development nestled on the hillside in Shekou. Consisting of 180 low rise villas and 84 flats, Jingshan is home to many families of expat oil executives and has good facilities - including SIS school. It has a swimming pool, tennis courts, small football field, squash court, a gym & aerobics room. A bit old and jaded these days. Prices from US$2,000-10,000 per month.

Set on a corner of land with fantastic waterfront views the Peninsula provides high quality apartments in a modern and secure complex. Each tower has a concierge in the lobby to ensure your safety.
